1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SIGTRACE ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

SIGTRACE is a railway signalling commissioning management platform that provides tools for test logging, shift reporting, issue tracking, team management, and project coordination. The Platform is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis.

3. User Accounts

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
  • You may not share your account or credentials with others.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Platform or its infrastructure.
  • Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content.
  • Use the Platform to store or transmit content that infringes on intellectual property rights.
  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Platform without permission.

5. Project Data & Content

  • You retain ownership of all content and data you submit to the Platform.
  • You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display your content as necessary to provide the service.
  • Project data is accessible to all members of the respective project as determined by project administrators.
  • You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any content you submit.

6. Roles & Permissions

Access to features within the Platform is governed by role-based permissions assigned by project administrators. You agree to use only the features and data your assigned role permits.

7. Availability & Modifications

  • We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Platform at any time.
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
  • Scheduled maintenance may result in temporary downtime.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SIGTRACE and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform. This includes, but is not limited to, loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SIGTRACE and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
